A WARTS member is progressive. He keeps his station abreast of science it is well built, safe and efficient. His operating practice is clean and conforms with amateur rules.

A WARTS member is friendly. He sends slowly when requested and offers friendly, patient advice and counsel to the beginner, understanding assistance and cooperation to the broadcast listener and the television viewer. These are marks of the WART Spirit.

A WARTS operator is balanced. Radio is his hobby. He never allows it to interfere with any duties he owes his home, his job, his school or his community.

A WARTS Station operator is patriotic. His station and services are always ready to serve his country, his community and his fellow men.
